Prior to joining our firm, Jessica worked as an associate in the intellectual property group of Ballard Spahr’s Phoenix Office, one of the largest firms in the United States.     Arizona Attorney Magazine's annual civil verdicts article included RES-AZ Kingman, LLC v. Provenza-Neth as one of seven "significant defense verdicts" of 2017. Facing over $6 million in potential liability on loan guarantees signed with a signature stamp, the defendant retained Kercsmar & Feltus partner Sean O'Hara for trial. The jury retained a unanimous verdict for the defendant.

    On October 12, 2017, The Florence Project announced that attorney Seth Goertz was named Adult Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Working with the Florence Project, Mr. Goertz represented a legal permanent resident who was detained and facing deportation. Thanks to Mr. Goertz’s advocacy, his client was released, retaining his green card. Kercsmar & Feltus encourages all of its attorneys to give back to the community by providing pro bono services to indigent individuals. The firm is very proud of Mr. Goertz’s service and accomplishment.

    Kercsmar & Feltus represented Scott Cole’s widow in two lawsuits brought by creditors of Mortgages Ltd. against Ms. Coles seeking to recover insurance proceeds paid to her. Both cases resulted in unanimous opinions in Ms. Cole's favor from the Arizona Court of Appeals.
